CHASING BUTTERFLIES – Majeko
Chasing butterflies explores the interplay between being and striving. In an age where productivity often defines our value, the performance examines the tension between dynamic ambition and patient presence. The dancers’ movements navigate between drive and stillness, where each step becomes a reflection of the human quest for balance. Chasing butterflies reflect our experiences and remind us that none of us are alone on this journey.
Majeko (Sweden) is a Sweden-based dance collective made up of core members Kaide Gonzalez, Marcus “Mackie” Larsson and Ida “Inxi” Holmlund. For the Attitudes project, the group is joined by Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall, temporarily replacing Inxi.
Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall is a prominent dancer and choreographer, with house as her primary focus. She studied at Åsa Folk High School and has since created the pieces “Galax” and “Making waves”.
Kaide Gonzalez is a dancer and choreographer specialising in house and hip hop. In spring 2024, his work “60 seconds” was presented at Dansens Hus in Stockholm, and he has also performed in works by French dance company Black Sheep and by Dutch choreographer Alesya Dobysh.
Mackie Larsson has spent years immersing himself in hip hop and house dance styles. He has been active in competitions and battles, winning Hip Hop Weekend 2vs2 House category, Paris Dance Delight with French dance group Kaynix Supreme, and making it to the final of Japan Dance Delight with the same group.

MIRAR – Iron Skulls
Mirar examines the relationship between the viewer and the viewer – a nerve-wracking game in which gazes meet, slip, collide, and shape. A gaze is never neutral, it weaves meanings, projects narratives, and shapes realities. With body, movement and presence, the performance explores how we project meaning, fill voids and build stories – not only about others, but also about ourselves.
Iron Skulls (Spain) is a dance collective based in Barcelona, with members from across Spain. The group was born out of the Iron Skull Crew, which has been participating in breaking battles since 2005. The collective was formalised in 2013 and has since developed a distinctive style that blends hip hop, breaking, acrobatics and contemporary dance with influences from the worlds of design, fashion, music and martial arts.

JOGO DE DENTRO – Kaê Brown Carvalho & Jerson Diasonama

Jogo de dentro tells the story of the meeting between two hip-hop dancers from different cultures. The title of the performance, which literally translates to ”inner play”, is inspired by the Angolan dance form capoeira and captures the dynamic interaction of Kaê Brown Carvalho and Jerson Diasonama. Through their movement and expression, a playful struggle for identity, culture and belonging is created. Join us on a journey where the cultural paths from Angola, Portugal, Brazil and France meet and cross.
Kaê Brown Carvalho & Jerson Diasonama (France
Kaê Brown Carvalho has a background in capoeira and contemporary dance, which has led him to develop a unique breaking style. He is one of the founders of the dance crew “Les Ratz” and has collaborated with François Frénétik (Compagnie Primitif), the Zombeavers group and Saïdo Lehlouh, to name just a few.
Jerson Diasonama is a versatile dancer and photographer who combines freestyle and performing arts with his eclectic body language. In 2017, he set up Essens:corp, an experimental laboratory exploring the aesthetics of movement. In 2022, he won the “Danse élargie” (“Extended dance”) competition organised by the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and the Musée de la danse, in collaboration with the Hermès Corporate Foundation.
