III Stone Play - a woman piles up stones at Sai no kawara - the dried up river bed in the Japanese landscape of the dead - lead by the spirits of the dead

I The Bottom of the Sea - cleen sleep loses time; full of deathly silence a ship moves, laden with a cargo of dreams
II Beggars - loosing the weight of reality; a scrap of paper tossed by a winter gale; wandering aimlessly through the windswept town
